Metal titans UNEARTH have left their undeniable mark on heavy metal history through their relentless determination to deliver indisputable classics with every album. Now, 25 years into their career, the Boston bruisers’ legacy has never been more evident than on their most recent release, The Wretched, The Ruinous, which can be purchased HERE.

“The Wretched; The Ruinous is about the eight billion people on this planet,” describes vocalist Trevor Phipps. “We’ve created a man-made mass extinction event and have been too slow to correct our faults. Extreme weather, drought, famine, disease, erosion of land, culture wars, civil wars, wars for natural resources, and the displacement of billions of people, is all a current reality. This isn’t a future problem; it is a now problem and I take this record to talk about it.”

Lauded by critics, The Wretched, The Ruinous, firmly plants UNEARTH as the heavyweights of melodic metalcore.

“Worthy of respect for staying the course, but also for smashing harder than ever, UNEARTH have made their best album since 2008’s “The March”. In the absence of anyone else nailing this substrain of metal with such panache, I hereby proclaim them to be the current kings of this shit.” – Blabbermouth

“The Wretched; The Ruinous is a reminder of how exciting metalcore can be when executed with passion and integrity, and that’s welcome in 2023.” – Kerrang

“It’s fun, it’s powerful, it’ll be a blast to pit to and it’s performed with a gusto and self-belief that comes from years of hard work and their deserved place as one of the originators of the scene.” – Distorted Sound
