Alternative rockers THE LINKS have released a video for their song “Try To Change”. The track is taken from their recently released album Outside, which is now available on all streaming platforms.

The band comments: “Try to Change’ is, for the most part, a gothy pop song about attempted personal growth.  It’s also in part about just sort of giving into certain personal demons, providing you’re not hurting anyone, because otherwise it’ll more than likely only eat you up.  I thought the scenes from Carnival of Souls (1962 cult film sampled in the creation of this video) were a pretty strong outward representation of that notion, the girl narrowly avoids death then goes on to weave in and out of actual, physically-present ghouls.  This is the most recent single from our album Outside, but also probably one of our catchiest songs to date, and the spooky horror-movie-tinged video seemed pretty timely considering the season.”

About THE LINKS:
THE LINKS began back in the early 2010s playing gigs in the Lafayette/Louisiana area and soon turned to creating their debut album. Fast-forward to 2019/2020, line-up changes and a shift in musical direction established their trajectory for this new chapter. Throughout 2021, the band poured their energy into creating Outside. Musically, the trio draw inspiration from the likes of DEFTONES, RADIOHEAD and SMASHING PUMPKINS, while adding their own psychedelic twist. Over their career THE LINKS have performed at Cajun Dome and have opened for national touring acts DAIKAIJU and RICKSHAW BILLIE’S BURGER PATROL on several occasions.
