“We Are Non Residents” is the dynamic single from NON RESDIENTS’ debut album, Against Police Brutality. Drawing from thrash, punk and traditional Chilean instruments, the metal outfit deliver an important message with a heavy sound.

“From the first moment we wanted “We are Non Residents” to be our calling card, our introduction to the world. “We are Non Residents” music video represents who we are and who we were at the time of recording it, without pretensions, lights or embellishments, just our attitude. It is a genuine video, made with the help of our friends, and the idea of doing it was quite ambitious. It was recorded at A/B Studios in Rockaway, Queens, well out of town, in times of the pandemic and in winter.
Joco Media took charge of the production in an excellent and very professional way, portraying our reality as musicians and as immigrants. We do not hide who we are or pretend to be someone else, no flags or race divide our way, one for all and all for one.
As a curious fact, when we were filming the scenes of the police in the deli store, people from the neighborhood angrily confronted us, reprimanding that we were crazy for doing something like that in a neighborhood like Bushwick (Brooklyn) where racial issues and Police violence was latent. Everything ended well when we explained what it was about.”
Against Police Brutality is an epic record carrying their own raw experiences. Its unforgiving sound doesn’t just focus on the heavy but sees the instrumentation and vocals expertly cultivated and performed.
