“Since Valentine’s Day is on the 14th, it seemed only fitting for the first single from Transactinides to be its most romantic. “Azure” is a musical depiction of two women falling in love, and it’s directly inspired by the character of the same name from my urban fantasy novel, Behind the Bitmask.”
The fully immersive and melodic single powerfully entwines clean and harsh vocal styles, aptly portraying the dramatic narrative of the two characters.
PLANEPACKED draws musical influences from the likes of AUTECHRE, IGORRR, DEVIN TOWNSEND, and SUSUMU HIRASAWA, and is also inspired in various ways by Jessica’s urban fantasy fiction series, Endian Project. PLANEPACKED opens the threshold to a universe of soundscapes, melodies and explorations of the human existence.
