EMBERS OF DAWN have unveiled “The Only Gods (Remix)”, a remixed version of their 2023 release. The heavy industrial quartet’s forthcoming full-length album Infernal Culture, is scheduled to arrive on September 18, 2026.
Guitarist Cliff Ross shares, “The song frames ‘gods’ not as divine beings, but as corrupt constructs — machines of power, ideology, and control. It argues that the figures and systems we worship — governments, machines, corporations, war structures, even technology — are not gods at all, but false idols that bleed us dry, divide us, and lead us nowhere.”
The soundscape is elevated with enhanced electronics and industrial elements. A heightened impact throughout the sound is achieved with additional sharp and abrasive textures. Lyrically, the track situates damaging systems of power and harmful technologies as false idols that drive further division and harm.
