Alternative heavy trio MODERN MIMES venture into dark haunting realms with their anthemic and melodic new single “Roses In Ruins”. Following their latest release “Heavy Heart”, MODERN MIMES are leaning into progressive and more technical arrangements in this upcoming offering.
“Roses In Ruins” sees the three-piece incorporate further heavy styles into their music, with modern metal, progressive, technical elements and a hint of dissonance all seeping through the track. Electronics add further drama to the dynamic instrumentation, while Arianie Elcida Hernandez’s vocals inject powerful melodies and harmonies.

About MODERN MIMES:
MODERN MIMES began as a duo in 2016 with Arianie and Ernesto blending styles of PORTISHEAD, NINE INCH NAILs, SEVENDUST, and LACUNA COIL. The duo performed locally in their hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and landed the Riptide Music Festival alongside WEEZER, SILVERSUN PICKUPS and many more. It was in 2018 that they were joined by drummer Justin Perez from New Orleans, Louisiana, and became the three-piece they are today.
