Toronto, Canada, based outfit THE PULSE-ESCAPE METHOD welcomes new bassist Nick Perry to their lineup. Hailing from Ontario, Perry is a multi-faceted musician (guitar/bass/drums/production engineer) who draws inspiration from an array of rock and heavy music including the likes of TOOL, FOO FIGHTERS, SILVERCHAIR, and LED ZEPPELIN.

Perry has previously performed in a number of ensembles including THE WEREST, SUZI KORY, IN YOUR HONOUR, DEAD CELEBRITY, SIXXXER, and UNDERBRUSH.

Toronto, Canada, based vocalist and 8-string guitarist Riion Bloom (Blair Ryan Barton) and drummer Luke Scott, collectively known as THE PULSE-ESCAPE METHOD, embarked on their musical journey during the fall of 2019. With both members experienced musicians having been involved in projects including THE DIVIDED LINE and RUMSFIELD, THE PULSE-ESCAPE METHOD offers a space to explore and develop their music in a different direction. Drawing inspiration from the likes of ALEXISONFIRE, TOOL, THE CONTORTIONIST, DEFTONES and POISON THE WELL, THE PULSE-ESCAPE METHOD channel dark tones, electronics and heavy instrumentation with their own twist. In 2023, the band welcomed new bassist Nick Perry to the lineup.
THE PULSE-ESCAPE METHOD’s debut single “BeNt” is bound to captivate audiences with its distinctive sound. This track has been meticulously crafted with intricate, technical leads and fierce bass which create a heavy backdrop for Bloom’s vocal melodies to soar. The full-throttle chorus brings a catchy hook while overdriven distortion manifests a dark and heavy atmosphere. “BeNt” will leave listeners eager for more material from this promising outfit.
