“Masquerading Deception of Tyranny” explores the aftermath of exposed corruption; the consequences of deceit and subsequent rewriting of history that entails further falsehoods. Shrouded in shadow, the track delves into the entanglement of power struggles and the construction of inescapable webs of lies.

VITHIAL is a melodic black and death metal solo project from Pensacola, Florida, created and driven by David Dwayne. The project emerged in late 2023 and began taking form throughout 2024, initially envisioned as a collaborative effort before evolving into a fully independent endeavor. Early material was written during a period of experimentation and lineup exploration, resulting in a demo release that reflected the project’s formative stage rather than its final direction.
Musically, VITHIAL draws heavily from 1990s second-wave black metal and Florida death metal, with thrash metal influence shaping its rhythmic drive and aggression. The sound emphasizes melody-driven guitars, dynamic drumming, and cold, forceful vocals, supported by restrained synth elements used primarily for atmosphere.
